Hello! I specialize in providing therapy to children, adolescents, couples and families experiencing a variety of concerns ranging from anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and present stressful life events. I also have experience working with individuals and families impacted by substance use. I am bilingual in Spanish and English and am happy to provide therapy in either language.
As a therapist, I help clients to build a foundation for healing and growth and strive to promote an overall well-being. I believe that communication is an important piece of the daily routine and that the ability to do so effectively is a core factor in helping individuals and families strengthen their relationships. This means that I will work with your children and teens to identify their feelings and communicate them to you in a way that feels easier for parents to hear! I see therapy as a process where we will join together to develop the best course of treatment in order to achieve increased understanding, sense of control, and feelings of comfort.
I became a therapist with the desire to create a safe space for people to express and process their memories, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and to provide hope for healing, personal growth, and lasting change.
I am originally from New York, I earned my BA in Psychology and Spanish from Albright College (PA). I completed my Master’s in Psychological Services and Professional Diploma in Marriage and Family Therapy from Kean University (NJ).
Outside the office, I enjoy hiking, spending time with friends and family, arts and crafts, and traveling. I am currently a Resident in Marriage and Family Therapy working under the supervision of Matt Browning, LPC, with the expectation of being fully licensed in August 2022.
