Breathing helps.
We know that no amount of one thing will help any of us overcome some of the feelings we may be having during this time. Instead, we’d like to share a simple 2-minute breathing exercise that can help you regain focus and relieve some anxiety. It’s not much, but it’s what we can do now and sometimes it’s just about baby steps, right?
Breathe in deeply and exhale for one minute.
After the first minute, breath out ¾ of the way and hold your breath for one minute.
At the end of one minute (and it’s ok if you don’t make it for the whole 60 seconds), breath in again and hold for 10 seconds.
After doing this exercise, you should feel ready to tackle that project you’ve been putting off, a walk in the park, or the pile of laundry at the end of your bed.
Remember, we are here for you and your family!
